The Capitol School of Performing Arts is southeastern New Brunswick’s only year-round theatre training school. It is offered by theatre professionals in both English and French, for students of all ages.
Seen as a priority of the Capitol Theatre and its Board of Directors, support for this school has been generously offered by School Districts 1 and 2, the municipalities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview, and our corporate sponsors. As a result, a bursary program has been established to accommodate those students with a special interest and limited financial means.
Weekly classes are held in 3 trimesters from September through June, and there is an intensive 2-week youth drama camp in August. A year-round performance class leading to a public performance is and exciting addition for those already enrolled in the school.
